Happy New Year, Islam
In about two hours, our amalan book will be brought up to the sky and we will be given a new amalan book. What a feeling. I must say, the past one year has been amazing. Although I don't grow much or even succeeds in any major thing, I know I've given my bestest for every single day. Everyday I try to wake up early (been setting alarm clock at 4.30am since last Ramadhan), I try to be productive (I'm back to reading again alhamdulillah), I try to learn new things in anyone, anywhere and anything (Funny how Omegle changes me a lot as a person-even my knowledge increases alhamdulillah), and most importantly, I try to be as best Muslimah as I could.
Staying at home, I have no excuse not to pray on time, pray Dhuha, Tahajud and other sunnah prayers, sunnah fasting, spending more time with the Quran and learn about the deen even through Instagram or Youtube videos. Alhamdulillah for my recent interest to learn Tafseer. It was akak who first wanted to learn the Tafseer when she knew that Abba (Yasir's grandad who is 90 years old) reads the Tafseer everyday. Asked ustaz about it, and ustaz said it's better to learn with a teacher. But for now, I'll just read the tafseer blog called Tafseer Tuesday which I found when Kak Ayesha share it at her story. I feel so blessed alhamdulillah.
I may not be able to quit or give up on my love for music yet. Sometimes I sing more than I do my hafazan. But deep down, I hope I can someday. I hope my love for the Quran and the deen is much more than my love for the dunya. I know it's not gonna be an easy journey. I'm actually listening to Say Yes and Kisah Ku Inginkan on repeat the past few days. But I still do my hafazan. So it's quite a confusing hafazan journey to me. Do I wanna be a singer or a hafizah ? Haha.
As for my writing progress, alhamdulillah for this blog. Started this public blog back in November and this is gonna be my 161st post. What a journey...Still so much to learn I probably need another 200 days to be much better than I first started. It's not gonna be easy, but it's gonna worth every single word written, insyaAllah ameen. I have also started writing drafts for my first ever book. Still not sure what is it gonna be about, most probably about myself but idk. Let's just write with the flow.
May our new deed books will be filled with goodness and only goodness. Let's strive to be the best Muslims and enter Jannatul Firdaus (tanpa hisab) where happiness is forever. Ameen.
Love,
Bie
