What We Write Daily

As I write in my journal just now, I can't help but feel "Ni journal ke to-do-list book ni?". Haha, though I call it my journal, I don't really journal. I don't really express my thoughts, feelings, and write like a full paragraph or something. I think the only place I really write in sentences is in this blog. In the journal, I always write in point forms and mostly about my to-do-list (which is always the same haha). Dono lah. Maybe cuz it gives me a sense of satisfaction when I tick off the list one by one. I think I'm not the only one here. Even Imran Ijmain does that too! How I wish I can read his to-do-list. And not only his, but anyone who's willing to share with me their to-do-list. To make myself really write, I write 'Freewriting for 10 minutes' in the list. That's for me to just really write and not just write lists you know. Need to brush up this mind and be more creative and expressive.

Just wanna share with you guys what my parents write on a daily basis. Like me, mama also writes her to-do-list. She's been doing it since forever. And for the past few years, she has food journals where she records what she eats everyday. Actually I started this food journal thingy in 2013, then I stopped, but mama continues to do it until now. Apart from to make herself write, I think food journalling also gives her some kind of contentment, kot?

Abah on the other hand never have a diary nor journal nor even to-do-list ! He also writes everyday but he writes belanja-of-the-day. He keeps track of how much money he spent everyday and he's been doing it since forever. God knows how many books he has now. This is also a good habit cuz he gets to be aware of how much he spends everyday. I tried doing this, but nah, not for me. Maybe cuz I'm not the breadwinner of the family and I have no responsibility to pay for groceries, bills and sorts kot ?

Blogging is also like a therapy to me. I'm glad I found this small space called happiness. Sometimes I wished I found it sooner, you know, since 10 years old ke apa, tapi I'm glad I found it at young age (still). I hope I'll write as long as I breathe, even if I'm 80, or 90, and get to inspire someone, somewhere out there through my writings.

Love,
Bie
