Let's Dua'!
The other day I was watching Kak Banana's IG live with Kak Ayesha Syahira. Kak Ayesha is a writer and motivator and she's famously known as the Quran Tag girl. I remember searching her book, Quran Tag at book shops tapi tak jumpa :(
One of the new things I learned on that live was dua' is actually a conversation we have with Allah, not necessarily a strings of requests we ask from Allah. I find that very interesting, because all this while, I only talk to Allah when I need something. And when I started having this 'small talk' with Allah yesterday, it feels like I'm talking to a friend and it felt nice. Cuma, I had to do it quietly lah else Abah will think I'm crazy pulak. I hope to be able to do this for 5 minutes after each prayer insyaAllah and I hope you can do that too.
But I've actually already started this conversation with Allah when Neelofa shared this some time ago ( I think kat Naura Shares kot).She said every night, before she goes to bed, she will just lay on her bed and talk to Allah about literally anything. Like how her day went etc. Since then, I do it on most nights. My usual topic was about jodoh la. I would tell Allah I don't wanna get married but I feel like I'm lying to myself cuz I do like men but I know that's not enough cuz we need money to survive and I don't have enough etc..
So for this Ramadhan, I hope to make more dua' than before (talk to Allah more). But first, insyaAllah, I'll be listing down my dua' and I hope I can make the 5-minute conversation as useful as possible.
p/s : Yesterday I followed a really good-looking guy on Twitter but he lives too far away. Orang Sabah bah ! Tibah!
