Best gift ever
Bismillah..Since sis lupa nak berblogging this morning, so here I am, after Maghrib prayer, writing to you, nobody, but it's okay, this blog gon be fam(ous) one day oyeah. Orang kata between Maghrib and Isyak sebaik-baiknya dihabiskan masa dengan mengaji, but I can't wait until after Isyak cuz my body at night is low so have to break the rule once in a while. Biasenye time2 macam ni sis dah baring atas katil bersedia nak tidur haha. Tapi malam ni rasa semangat pulak nak get-things-done.
Harini sis sambung kerja editing, berjaya kumpul another box of books to be given away (pat in the back), and...berjaya dengar a whole episode of 1-hour podcast sebab sambil dengar tu sambil main Candy Crush. I started listening to podcasts because of Aida Azlin, bless her. I installed Spotify because of her. I love A so much she always calms me down with her Tuesday Love Letters, Youtube videos, and now, her podcasts. Rase macam nak jadi one of her #SeoulSister je tau but I know I'm just a nobody huhu.
About the podcast, Aida asked every guest dalam podcast dia what is their word of the year. Siu Lim( her guest) said persistent. If I were to be her guest, I would say 'give'. Cuz I wanna be someone who live to give, everyday for the rest of her life, not just in 2020. Honestly, I don't have much money to give, kalau ada pun I would give to my parents or Faris cuz they need it as much as I do. But I try to also give money to the community where I would give abah some money to be put in the tabung surau every Friday. It's not much but I really hope there's reward for me and family in the hereafter insyaAllah.
Talking about giving, I always ponder upon besides giving money, what can I give? I don't have much knowledge to share, I don't have a skill or talent to create a masterpiece to be given to the society. I guess..right this moment..I think the best gift I can give is tonnes of doa. I hope I'll become that person who doa for other people banyak2. I guess the simplest doa I can give is 'May Allah ease that person's life'. Bukan ke doa itu senjata mukmin? And also, if kite doa untuk orang lain, malaikat akan doakan untuk kite juga. MashaAllah.
